CAP Space Analysis: Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills come into 2021 with about -$1 million in cap room with Josh Allen coming into his 4th year. Let’s investigate what the future fantasy implications are and what moves they can make to create more cap room and plan for signing Allen long-term in the next two years as they will likely push that to 2022 before signing this extension.
The moves above can create just over $59 million in cap room and with them being just under the cap would allow them to have around $58 million for free agency. Some of these names will not be unexpected as they have already been floating out there in Bill’s offseason articles as some were underperforming or just getting older. The return of Star Lotulelei and their pursuit of JJ Watt will likely mean they revamp that D line. A lot of these potential cuts were already mentioned here by Michael LaFave and I agree with a lot of what he mentions.
