Post Week 9 Buy/Sell

The Draft Director / @ChrisMiles1017

Hello everyone, welcome to my weekly Buy/Sell column here for the Fantasy Scouts. In these pieces I talk about what players market values may be lower than they should and whose values are too high. This way we can take advantage of these value fluctuations and make our teams better for the eventual playoff push. Let’s dive in now!

(This article is assuming full PPR, Superflex, redraft. But can be applied to any form of redraft league.)

QB Buy and Sell

My QB buy for this week is Lamar Jackson. Jackson and the Ravens offense as a whole have not been even close to what they were last year and owners are upset about it. However, I am buying Lamar for 2 reasons. The first is the Ravens’ upcoming schedule and the second is how the Ravens looked when we last saw them. On Sunday the Ravens offense was held to 0 points in the first half against the 2nd best Defense in the league. They responded to this by coming out and dropping 17 (almost 24)  in the second half. The offense had a different energy and looked a lot more similar to 2019. The Ravens remaining schedule is the easiest in the NFL and Lamar should be able to drop big points on them. Weeks 12-16 he faces Dallas, Cleveland, Jacksonville and the Giants. Fantasy playoffs gold mine.
