Houston Texans Overview:

Let’s just start this off by saying hats off to the Houston Texans. A team that’s been the laughingstock of the NFL since they traded away a generational wide receiver for a bag of chips. They’ve been a favorite to go 0-16 all offseason and guess what? They’re 1-1 and put up one hell of a fight against a team who is widely viewed as a legit playoff team and Super Bowl contender. With the offseason drama with Watson and the thought that they wouldn’t see a single win all year, it’s nice to see them come out of the gates like this. But anyway, back to fantasy. While the Texans have looked great the last two weeks, it’s going to be a rough one in primetime this week as they lost Tyrod Taylor to an injury last week.

Start:

Brandin Cooks – For whatever reason Cooks is underrated and underappreciated year after year and yet he continues to produce. Through two weeks he’s the 11th best wide receiver in fantasy football land and he’s posted a fantastic 14-210-1 on 21 targets. He’s the only player on this offense you can trust and he’s a locked-in flex play with plenty of upside each and every week.

Projected Fantasy Points: 14.8
