Week 3 - DFS Values & Prop Bets
Last Week’s W-L (finish top 12 in ppg for the W)
Andy (4-6) [overall 8-18] / Phil (2-7) [overall 7-11]
We are back to look towards the main slate on Sunday for our DFS value pieces. Last week was a little rough for me [Phil] and Andy was able to gain some ground in the win column. We both look to rebound this week with some great upcoming matchups.

Russell Wilson vs Vikings $7600 (Andy)
Many expected the Vikings to improve on the defensive side of the ball this season, but it has not quite materialized yet. Joe Burrow threw for 261 and 2 in week one, and Kyler Murray posted 400 yards and 3 TDS just last week. It is beginning to look as though the Vikings can be targeted again in fantasy and odds are in your favor Russ cooks for 285.5 yards or more and you can take advantage on Thrive.
Daniel Jones vs Falcons $5800 (Andy & Phil)
Much like the Vikings, we can play our fantasy stars against Atlanta. Jalen Hurts and Tom Brady have both already turned out QB1 performances, and Daniel Jones has an opportunity to continue the trend if he continues to hold his rushing floor.
Teddy Bridgewater vs Jets $5800 (Phil)
Teddy has quietly led the Broncos to a 2-0 start and is averaging 22 ppg, with no turnovers will that continue, is the question that Thrive is trying to answer vs what Kirk Cousins may do. Both are without an INT for now but who is more likely Sunday to throw one or more? While he may not have the high ceiling, he can be a cheap option to allow you to go all-in on other positions.
Saquon Barkley vs Falcons $6500 (Andy)
Off the back of a long week, could this be the moment Saquon announces his arrival into the 2021 season? I think it could be, and at $6500, it is an excellent price to find out. Most backs need 3 weeks before they finally got their full explosion back from the ACL and the ATL D is bad and we could see Barkley score and often and the only question is will he do it via the run or the pass?
Najee Harris vs Bengals $6600 (Andy)
Harris should continue to see nearly all the work and therefore see the volume in a decent matchup this week, which should allow him to finish as a high-end back. Can he place as an RB1 once again? I think he will, yes.
Ty’Son Williams vs Det $5800 (Phil)
Detroit’s defense is bad and the Ravens like to run. Easy start for me at the price he sits at now. While I know it’s a 3 headed rushing attack, he should start them off and see plenty of rushing chances in this game.
D’Andre Swift vs Ravens $5800
The Ravens have been just average against the run so far and their injuries are mounting up. At his cost, he could produce nicely especially when they fall behind and need to pass to catch up.
Cooper Kupp vs Tampa Bay $6800 (Andy)
This game has the potential to be a high-scoring one, and Kupp has proved to be Stafford’s top target, and he is still being valued at under $7000. Yes, please.
Chase Claypool vs Bengals $5800 (Andy)
Diontae Johnson picked up an injury at the end of last weekend, and should he miss time or be limited in any way, this could be the moment for Claypool in a favorable matchup and if so will he out target Tee Higgins?
Rondale Moore vs Jax $5000 (Phil)
Rondale is a weapon that Arizona is using in as many ways as possible. At his cost, he is an affordable top 12 play.
K.J. Osborn vs Seattle $3500 (Phil)
K.J. has quickly established himself as the third option in the passing offense and has improved each week. With their injuries to the TE spot, he continues to shine and just missed top 12 last week and is a great cheap flyer.
Jared Cook vs Chiefs $3900 (Andy)
Justin Herbert will likely need to throw to keep up in this one, and if Cook continues to get a good amount of targets, he could break the top 12, especially if he finds the endzone and Thrive lets you double down on him scoring and his yardage being over 29.5 in that game as well which will likely be a shootout.
TJ Hockenson vs Ravens $5200 (Andy)
Although Hockenson is the fourth most expensive tight end of the week, he is still an incredible $3000 cheaper than Travis Kelce. He will continue to see a high number of targets and be a massive part of their passing game.
Rob Gronkowski vs LAR $5500 (Phil)
Gronk is the 3rd highest cost, yes, but he is playing like the old Gronk and is barely behind Kelce in scoring this year. At just under 3k less than Kelce, he’s a bargain. And our friends at Thrive have a great prop bet of will Gronk have more receiving yards than Darrell Henderson (questionable with a rib injury and I think unlikely to play much) has rushing yards.
Kyle Pitts vs NYG $4900 (Phil)
Normally I would be against a rookie TE, but Pitts is starting to find his way in the offense and the Gi
