Week 4 Review

Chad Workman / @tweetsbychadfw

It’s hard to believe that week 4 is almost in the rear-view mirror, and that teams are a quarter of a way through their season. Unfortunately, the story continues to be centered around injuries to key players. We saw a few more guys go down this week, which we will cover, but we also some dazzling performances on display this week. Let’s dive in.

Injuries

We saw two star players go down with an injury this week in Nick Chubb and Austin Ekeler. As of this writing, we do not know the extend of the injuries. Word out of Cleveland is that there is some optimism that Nick Chubb may have avoided a serious injury. What we do know is that it’s a knee injury and he will have an MRI tomorrow. Expect him to miss some time, but we can be hopeful that that it’s not season ending. Ekeler will also get an MRI tomorrow, but the reports indicate that he suffered a hyper extended knee as well as a hamstring injury. He is expected to miss several weeks. These two injuries overshadowed O.J. Howard’s achilles injury. He was putting together a nice season so far and seemed to be Brady’s preferred tight end target, but the expectation is that this will end his season.
