Week 5 - DFS Values & Prop Bets
We are back to look towards the main slate on Sunday for our DFS value pieces. Last week we both rebounded finishing over .500 on our picks and Andy increased his overall lead by 2 more wins. It remains a close race between us though.

Daniel Jones vs Cowboys $6000 (Andy)
Jones has been somewhat of a surprise so far this season. The Cowboys D has been better than expected, but Jones should offer enough of a rushing floor to keep his good run going.
Sam Darnold vs Eagles $6600 (Andy & Phil)
Darnold’s cost is gradually going up, and similar to Daniel Jones, he has been a pleasant surprise this season. His link-up with DJ Moore has been superb, and the fact he can add rushing touchdowns to his stats makes him a solid weekly option.
Trey Lance vs ARI * $5700 (Phil)
If no Jimmy G*, then Lance is a steal at his cost with his massive rushing upside. He scored 20.4 points in the second half with no prep time or game plan, so a full game he could put up quite a bit. If Jimmy G is healthy then Lance is an avoid.
Aaron Jones vs Bengals $7900 (Andy)
My original plan was to put Dalvin Cook in this spot, but with his injury status a little unclear at the time of writing, I chose to pivot to Jones. James Robinson went for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns last week, and I can see Jones scoring similar numbers while also catching passes, and our partners at Thrive think he could match the TDs that Jrob did last week.
Nick Chubb vs Chargers $6700 (Andy)
I was surprised to see Nick Chubb down at this price, especially after a 100-yard rushing performance. The game with the Chargers should be competitive, and Chubb should have plenty of opportunities.
Damien Williams vs LV $5600 (Phil)
With Montgomery expected to miss 3-5 weeks, Williams steps in with a great opportunity to put up points, especially as Fields should open lanes for him as the Defense has to respect his speed.
Kenneth Gainwell vs CAR $4900 (Phil)
The rookie continues to impress and is slowly taking over this backfield. While not yet getting a majority of the carries he is seeing a lot of targets which in a PPR format keep him very relevant. Consider him a cheaper version of Kareem Hunt.
DJ Moore vs Eagles $7500 (Andy)
Moore has been outstanding this season, and I see no reason not to continue to roll with him. The Darnold/Moore stack allowed me to cash in line-ups last weekend, and I can see myself sticking the same stack in again in a few places.
Diontae Johnson vs Broncos $6500
There are only two Steelers players you can feel confident in starting week in and week out, Harris and Johnson. He has received double-digit targets in each game he has played this season, and that should continue this weekend. The biggest question is whether he will score and our partners at Thrive think it’s unlikely he doesn’t base on the under points in their TD-only game.
AJ Brown vs Jaguars $6500 (Phil)
No Julio and the Jaguars on tap, he should feast and at a much discounted price.
Darnell Mooney vs LV $4700 (Phil)
Mooney lit it up last week with Fields as the starter. Now Fields will start the remainder of the year and Mooney should only see his production increase with the rapport he has built with him.
Dalton Schultz vs Giants $4400 (Andy & Phil)
I am happy to pay less for my tight ends this weekend, and with Dak targeting the position as much as he has been this season, it could be another good showing. This pick does come with some risk, as you can never be quite sure if it’ll be a Jarwin week or not.
Tyler Conklin vs Lions $3500 (Andy)
The Vikings should be back to putting up points in a game against the Lions, and if Conklin can find the endzone, he will return value on this lower price.
CJ Uzomah vs GB $3000 (Phil)
Looking unstoppable last week, he gets a plus matchup again as Green Bay has not fared well against TEs. He is very likely a boom-bust candidate, but GB will put up points forcing the Bengals to keep up. I could see him finding the endzone again this week.
Steelers vs Denver $3300 (Andy)
Teddy Bridgewater left the game with a concussion last weekend, and if Drew Lock is in again, then the Steelers could have opportunities to put up points.
Cowboys vs NYG $2800 (Phil)
