Week 7 Review: Burrowed Alive

Some called it week 7, some called it bye-mageddon. Combine a mounting number of injuries with six teams on bye, and we were bound to see some unusual lineups this week.


While everybody was forced to start a player or two that they would have preferred to leave on their bench, we were spoiled with another week of stellar performances from some established superstars, and one of the next greats at the WR position.

Buckle up, it was another wild and crazy week.

Quarterbacks

  • Joe Burrow

Aided largely by a dazzling performance from his LSU co-star, Ja’Marr Chase, Burrow notched his career-high with 416 passing yards. Adding three touchdowns on 38 attempts, Burrow upset the Ravens in Baltimore while finishing as the weeks QB2 with 26.64 points. Burrow reached 38 attempts for the second time in three weeks but has posted an average of 27 attempts in his other five outings. With the offensive weaponry at his disposal, Burrow can be a QB1 if the team lives closer to 38 pass attempts rather than 27.
